The Jim Corbett national park is located in Nainital District, Ramnagar. This National Park has a Sanctuary beside it and was established in 1936 becoming the oldest national park and sanctuary. During that time, the British government took the help of Jim Corbett, who help them establish this national park and wildlife sanctuary. This national park was initially named the Hailey National Park but was later renamed Jim Corbett National Park in his honor for the contributions made by him. Jim Corbett National Park is famous for its location, flora, fauna, thick, moist deciduous forest, and a variety of tree and animal species. This national park is known as the headquarters for initiating Project Tiger, a campaign to save the endangered Bengal tiger.

Well, here is a pro tip carry some warm clothes when you travel in winter and lighter in summer as the temperature gets extreme after sunsets. In summer the temperature may rise to 40 degrees and in winter it can drop from 20 to 5 degrees.
This is why the ideal time to visit the park is considered from December to February.
