Milkmaid Eggless Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 1/2 tin condensed milk (Milkmaid)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup cream (malai)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Grease and flour a cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, pour out the condensed milk (Milkmaid).
  3. Add milk and powdered sugar to the condensed milk and begin beating with a hand mixer until well combined.
  4. Sift in the all-purpose flour (maida), baking powder, and baking soda into the wet mixture.
  5. Continue to blend until you have a smooth batter.
  6. Add the cream (malai) and lemon juice to the batter.
  7. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.
  8. Check the consistency of the batter. It should be thick but pourable. If it’s too thick, add a little more milk to adjust.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  11. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  12. After 10 minutes, transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
  13. Once cooled, slice and serve your delicious Milkmaid Cake!

Enjoy your homemade treat!
