Ingredients for the Samosa Filling:
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup boiled peas
- 2-3 boiled potatoes, mashed
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1-2 tsp aamchur (dry mango powder)
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
Instructions:
- Prepare the Filling:
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add ginger and green chilies, sauté for a minute.
- Add boiled peas and mashed potatoes. Mix well.
- Add red chili powder, aamchur, cumin powder, coriander powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Stir in fresh coriander. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Assemble the Samosas:
- Take slices of bread and cut off the crusts.
- Roll the bread slices thinly using a rolling pin.
- Place a spoonful of the filling on each bread slice and fold to form a cone shape. Seal the edges with a little water.
- Cook the Samosas:
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- Air fry the bread samosas for 8-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Alternatively, you can bake them in the oven at the same temperature.
